Ganpati Bappa Chitra Pradarshan
|
 |
Every kid likes to draw and color sketches..!! It demonstrates their creative side and puts their mind at work. Then why not use these creative minds to connect with our culture and learn more?
Lord Ganesha's physical attributes are rich in symbolism therefore while coloring the sketch the young minds can understand the details and can appreciate the wonderful God.
Children of all ages are encouraged to draw and/or color any of the three sketches provided and bring those during Ganpati Program on Sunday 12th September. These sketches will be displayed on the wall during our program; and all participants will get a memento for participation.

Welcome to St Louis Marathi Mandal - STLMM !

The St. Louis Marathi Mandal is a member supported non-profit organization serving the Greater St. Louis area. Our mission is to enhance the cultural, social and ethical bonding among the people interested in knowing, preserving and celebrating the cultural heritage of Maharashtra, a western state of India, and to foster the spirit of service to the community at large.
Our activities include:
- Cultural Events
We organize annual Maharashtrian Festivals like Gudi Padwa, Ganeshotsav, Diwali. These festivals give the community a chance to renew the cultural ties and encourage children to learn about the culture.
- Theatre Events
Maharashtra's modern theatre dates back well over 100 years. Keeping the theatrical tradition alive, we strive to organize events either through local talent or visiting theatrical groups from India.
- Art Events
We provide platform to the local talent in Fine Arts or Performing Arts by organizing presentations in performing arts. We also arrange programs by visiting artists from India.
- Games + Fun + Family = Picnic
Annual Summer picnics are fun filled events for the whole family. We organize picnics or other such group events, which boasts a mix of culture and fun!!
