Community Events
The St. Louis Marathi Mandal celebrates Marathi culture with vibrant events throughout the year, including festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali, and Makar Sankranti. These gatherings feature traditional music, dance, and cuisine, fostering community and cultural pride among members.
Marathi Shala
The Marathi Shala program in St. Louis offers children an opportunity to learn the Marathi language and immerse themselves in the culture. Through engaging classes and activities, students explore Marathi literature, music, and traditions, fostering a deep connection to their heritage. This program not only enhances language skills but also strengthens cultural identity and community bonds.
BMM Connection
The St. Louis Marathi Mandal (STLMM) maintains a strong connection with the Brihan Maharashtra Mandal (BMM) to promote Marathi culture on a larger scale. Through collaboration, STLMM shares resources, and engages in cultural exchanges. This partnership enhances the reach and impact of both organizations, fostering a united Marathi community across the United States.
